Nowadays challenges that senior leaders are facing are not straight forward challenges where they have a solution for it. Mostly, problem definition is unclear, and the solution definitely is and these adaptive challenges require systemic leadership.

These challenges are called adaptive challenges where our deeply rooted beliefs in the organization are challenges, the values that made the organization successful are becoming less relevant, and when legitimate and competing perspective emerge. Adaptive and systemic challenges require systemic intelligence and adaptive leadership to overcome it and to mobilize people in the organization to a solution that resides in the collective intelligence of the organization and its human capital.
